Platonic Love Exists Somewhere??

 

Love and Human Psyche

I am student of literature and I kept on reading different things that are discussed here and there. Most of times it is not a case as ideal that literary people have presented us. Like I would share my thoughts as what is “Platonic Love” and how to explain it in modern terms. If you tell me about literary way then it is a description by a famous philosopher Plato. It tells a mental state when a person is in love with other one without having a desire to acquire him or her physically.

Platonic Love means a love that involves Soul Connection, and it has nothing to with material gains, outward beauty and to get any kind of benefit. So it is really an important aspect of Human Psyche and it must be in the world sometime. But at this moment, I cannot find that this philosophy does not work right here at the moment!

Now the whole world has changed and it becomes only a clichéd statement that a person can love without expecting anything. Here the human psyche has changed and we love to be loved, and to get benefit in one way or other. Either we feel the comfort of having someone who adores us and can give us something like love, compassion and a TIME for sure. Now the soul connection and just keep on thinking about a beloved is no more payable.

It is a world of quick actions, responses and demands. Now no one wants to be in love with someone who cannot give him or her anything. Now Love is a matter of give and take, and people have no time to spend in thinking and living in dreams. Modern worlds has snatched the innocent and pure forms of love and even a simple way of life!

It is a tragedy in itself as we are not realizing its drastic dangerous effects. We are losing the concerns and bonding that our ancestors used to have. Asking anyone to date or to have a one night stand won’t give anyone real happiness, and it eventually turns out into loneliness and desperation, and off course depression. Is it possible that we can develop purity in relationship, and I am leaving to my respectable audience to guide me in this context!!

Unconditional Love is Something Far Fetched in the World!

Unconditional Love and Peace of Mind

I have often heard that people keep on saying that they love others without expectations. Though it is a very good thinking pattern, and a healthy one. But Unconditional LOVE exists quite rare in the world. Actually Human Psyche needs to have different Emotional Gaps that could be filled out with the presence of others in their lives. If the relationships are healthy then it keeps them at a high level of Motivation and Optimism!

Motivation is a key factor to gear up all Success that come with different ventures in LIFE but it is not packed in all Love like things. So we need to distinguish between our loves of other Human Beings without applying and conditions. Then we also need to make a priority list of our Love Bonding that is associate with other material gains and attainments. 

Some People like to say that they have Unconditional Love for everyone, and it carries a way weight. But is it possible for everyone to carry that mind-set as applicable in each case, and with everyone. It is a common Human Psyche that we start expecting the return from others when we do some Good Deeds for others. If we show Love and Affection then we want a payback in any form like a big Thank YOU or the Love in return. It can be all Platonic or a Physical Acquisition of someone!

I have heard many people saying that they believe in Unconditional Love but then they are seen complaining about their relationship. They keep on blaming others for not fulfilling their demands of love and bonding that they expected. So it is a duality in the situation, and in fact an irony that needs to be mended. If we say something then we must mean it. Otherwise it is far more effective to be straightforward and ask others that we need a return when we want!

It is matter of Hot Debate among my fellows as I am Vocal of the Philosophy that Human Instincts always demand some kinds of benefits in return. Whether it is in verbal form or a GIFT or a Love claim in return. Even human beings love God Almighty for the sake of Heaven in Afterlife, and don’t you think that it is another kind of bond and claim that something is required in return of all devotion and deep hearted Prayers and Piety. I want to know your opinions on this theory!!
